Flip Book

I saw a Flip Book a while ago on Splitcoasters and decided to try making one yesterday. I didn't want to add a lot of embellishments because I wasn't sure how it would turn out. So it's rather plain, but it was fun to do! I am thinking of maybe doing this for a spring themed stamp camp. I tried finding the link that has the tutorial on SCS, but I couldn't fine it. I will keep looking - when I find it I will post it. Here's a list of what I used:

Papers: Close to Cocoa, Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, Spring Flowers DP (retired)
Accessories: Soft Subtle Brads, Scallop Punch, Photo Corners Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Sticky Strip, Mini-Glue Dots, Snail Adhesive, Cutter with scorer

Merci SAB Card

I have been working on projects for my upcoming SAB workshop tomorrow night. I wasn't quite sure if I liked the card I had designed using Merci SAB set. So I took a look at what other papers I had and came up with card. I didn't have any Certainly Celery, but I think the Wild Wasabi works ok with this color scheme. I think I like this card better than the other card I made for the workshop - the colors are a lot more brighter. Thanks for stopping by today!

Stamp Set: SAB Merci
Inks: Basic Black, Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery
Cardstock: Whisper White, Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Certinaly Celery, Flowers For You DP
Accessories: Tempting Turquoise Brads, 1/16" punch, ticket corner punch, scallop punch, oval punch, Wild Wasabi ribbon, Aqua Painter, mini-glue dots, stampin' dimensionals, scissors

Tea Pot

I found this little tea pot at Hobby Lobby yesterday and thought it would be fun to dress it up using the SAB Love & Happiness rub-ons! I added a piece of Wild Wasabi double-stitched ribbon on the lid. The more I try them on different things, the more I love using them! Thanks for stopping by!

Another SAB Card

I got a Cuttlebug the other day and couldn't way to try it out! Since I have been working on ideas for my upcoming workshop, I thought I would use my Cuttlebug for the background on this card. I used the D'Vine Swirl embossing folder on the Blue Boyou background. All I can say is that I LOVE this little bug and am wondering why I didn't buy it sooner! Thanks for stopping by!

RAK (Random Act of Kindness)

I got this sweet card in the mail today from my dear friend Kim. Thanks Kim - God knew I needed a note of encouragement today, and I got it in the form of your card! Thanks for stopping by - make it a good one!

SAB Gable Box

I don't think the picture turned out the greatest for this project. I found some small gable boxes and wanted to do a mono-chromatic project using Wild Wasabi (love this color), and came up with this. I don't know if you can really see this in the picture, but I came the center present some dimension by cutting it out and attaching it with a dimensional. I also made another box using Purely Pomegranate (new In )Color, and liked the Wild Wasabi the best. Here's the recipe:

Stamp Set: Birthday Whimsy
Inks: Wild Wasabi
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Accessories: Small Gable Box, Silver Brad, 1/16" punch, Wild Wasabi Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Small Tag and Tag Punches, Silver Eyelet, Crop-A-Dile, Stampin' Dimensionals

Another SAB card

I am having fun creating some projects for my upcoming Mystery Hostess workshop on the 22nd. Here's another card using the SAB Friendship Blooms set.

Stamp Set: SAB Friendship Blooms
Inks: Basic Black, Rose Red
Paper: Whisper White, Rose Red, Cutie Pie DP, Bashful Blue
Accessories: So Safron brad, 1/16" punch, Stamp-A-Mag jig (to line up saying and flowers), Red Ribbon, 1/8" punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, scissors

Merci SAB Set

I finally had some time to play around with some of my SAB sets! This is a very simple card I came up with using the Merci set. I stamped the butterfly on white cardstock twice - colored them in. I punched one out with the scallop punch and cut the only the body out for the other one. I very carefully put 2 mini-pop dots on the truck of the butterfly and mounted it over the punched stamped image

After I posted the first card, I decided to do another card - I add 2 vintage brads in the corner and change the position of the ribbon around. Here's what I used:

Stamp Set: SAB Merci
Inks: Blue Boyou, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black
Cardstock: Whisper White, Blue Boyou, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Porcelain Prints DP
Accesories: Blender Pen, Scallop Punch, Small Oval Punch, Blue Boyou Ribbon, Black vintage brads, 1/16" punch, scissors, Mini-Pop Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, sponge
